The Accounting Representative is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the accounting functions of the bank. Job duties •Balancing and reconciling various accounts •Conducting electronic banking functions such as wire transfers and ACH files •Monitors the purchasing of fix assets •Updates income and expense accounts •Performs duties related to accounts payable, bond accounting and other varied account maintenance •Completes and maintains spreadsheets, tax reports, and various financial reports •Calculates estimated payments and prepares letters and forms Skills and Abilities •Diligent attention to detail and ability to multi-task •Strong understanding of accounting procedures •Excellent communication skills – in person, on the phone, and via email •Strong computer and mathematical knowledge •Minimum of six months of relevant accounting experience (preferred) Location: This position is full-time located at our West Milton office.
